A Christmas Carol begins in a 1940s radio soundstage, with a group of actors preparing to tell the classic tale. The original Dickens story is all here: Scrooge refuses a Christmas dinner invitation from his nephew, Fred, turns away charity workers raising money for the poor and bullies his clerk, Bob Cratchit. Jacob Marley makes his visit while the sound effects crew shakes chains; Ghosts from the Past, Present and Future lead Scrooge through the streets of London and into the Cratchit family home. Will Scrooge awaken a new man? Will Tiny Tim offer redemption? Theatre CBS is excited to bring this wonderful story to Worsley Park, just in time to kick of the holiday season.

George Bailey never got a chance to fulfill his life's ambitions of exploring the world and building skyscrapers. As he watches his friends and family become success stories he dreads running his father's building and loan business, rivaling the grumpy old Mr. Potter. But when a financial discrepancy puts George in a difficult position, an angel comes to show him what life would have been like if he had never been born.
This beautiful classic about redemption and the value of small things is faithfully retold in this radio drama version by Tony Palermo. Presented by Theatre CBS on December 3-5, 2021 at the Royal Canadian Legion, CBS to sold out houses.
