Erma Bombeck: At Wit's End
Our first collaboration with the Royal Newfoundland Yacht Club was dinner and a show on September 18 and 19, 2025 as part of the first "Savour the Arts" festival in CBS.
The show - Erma Bombeck: At Wit's End - is a comic look at one of our most beloved voices, who captured the frustrations of her generation by asking, “If life is a bowl of cherries, what am I doing in the pits?” The play tells the story behind America’s beloved humorist who championed women’s lives with wit that sprang from the most unexpected place of all – the truth.
This one-woman show starred Susan Bonnell, winner of the Best Actress Award for Calendar Girls (St. John's Players) at the 2023 Provincial Drama Festival.
Dinner included a three-course meal at the Royal Newfoundland Yacht Club.
