About Theatre CBS

Theatre CBS Inc. was formed in 2021 and incorporated in early 2022.

Vision

Theatre CBS will be a key player in a vibrant arts community in Conception Bay South, contributing economically, socially and culturally to the fabric of our municipality. We will provide performing arts opportunities for creative engagement as we share our rich story and enhance community pride.

Mission

To build community through theatre, providing an opportunity for the residents of Conception Bay South to develop and showcase their talents.

In our actions and interactions, we espouse the values of creativity, inclusivity, professionalism, respect, and enjoyment.

Mandate

Theatre CBS provides learning and personal growth opportunities through workshops, acting lessons and the production of plays. We allow individuals to express themselves creatively, utilize their diverse skill sets and work collaboratively towards a common goal. Theatre CBS will enhance awareness and appreciation of the performing arts within the community of Conception Bay South. We will explore multi-sectoral collaboration and partnerships with businesses, volunteer organizations, and non-charitable groups whenever possible.
