Understanding Wonderland

This original play from Leah McDonald (Neurodynamic Theatrics) and Peter Halley (Spirit of Newfoundland) follows Alice in the story many know as she travels through Wonderland. The difference is that all the characters Alice meets are somewhere on the autism spectrum. Through her conversations and questions with these characters (e.g. The White Rabbit, The Mad Hatter, Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum), Alice learns about autism and the many ways it presents in different people. 

 

Understanding Wonderland returns April 29 and 30, 2026 as part of Autism Month.
