About Us 

Theatre CBS is a vibrant community theatre group based in Conception Bay South, Newfoundland and Labrador. We offer theatrical productions, workshops, and opportunities for residents to develop and showcase their talents. Our mission is to build community through engaging performances that inspire thought, laughter, and connection. 

At Theatre CBS, every performance is a celebration of community, creativity, and connection. Whether we're bringing a classic play to the stage or crafting new works that reflect local voices, our productions spark dialogue, joy, and belonging.

Who We’re Looking For

We are currently seeking to fill two vacancies on our Board of Directors. Our ideal board members embody a mix of enthusiasm, experience, and community spirit. We’re looking for people who bring: 

• Passion for the Arts: A genuine appreciation for theatre and its power to unite and inspire. 

• Strategic Thinking: Ability to offer thoughtful guidance and help shape long-term vision. 

• Diversity of Perspective: Varied backgrounds and life experiences that strengthen representation. 

• Collaboration & Communication: Strong interpersonal skills and a knack for listening, sharing ideas, and building consensus. 

• Commitment to Community: A desire to support local talent and make meaningful contributions to Conception Bay South. 

• Reliability & Integrity: Dependability in attending meetings, participating in initiatives, and upholding the values of Theatre CBS. 

We also welcome individuals with skills in marketing, finance, or community development—but above all, a willingness to show up and help us grow.
